Corinne Bix, Director As the director of The United Way of Union County,
Corinne Bix is dedicated to advocating and fundraising for the 26 local agencies who partner with United Way.
She joined United Way of Union County in 2017 after running her own marketing business, CoreText Creative Marketing Solutions.
In addition, Corie spent 17 years working as a free-lance reporter for Union County’s local daily newspaper.
Corie’s top priority has always been her family. She believes building one another up be it at home or the workplace is the
key to success. She is committed to instilling in her own children that being kind, hardworking, and
trustworthy is paramount when building relationships with others. United Way advocates for the health, education, and financial stability for everyone.
Corie shares the philosophy that not until basic needs are met can people truly thrive and find their best self.
She has lived in Ohio since 1985. Corie attended The Ohio State University where she obtained her Bachelors of Arts with a degree in English.
She received her MBA in 2011 from Urbana University. Corie is married to Brandon, and has resided in Marysville, OH since 1999.
Together they have three children.
